...at last!!
I was just thinking about some of our favorite things we are looking forward to doing this summer and here's a little list I came up with:
*NO school for 2 months!
*going to our family cabin
*jetskiing
*trying fishing for the fist time at the lake in our "new to us" fishing boat with the kids
*bonfires and marshmallows
*summer jello shooters
*my 'sippie cup' at the beach
*soaking up some warm sunshine and getting a tan
*doing some bike riding with the kids
*lots of swimming
*SLEEPING IN!
*catching up lots of scrapbooking
*going to Nova Scotia with Courtney for dance ( for a week )
*possibly a quick little family trip to the States for some shopping?
*going to a bunch of parks
*picnic lunches at Patricia Beach
*late night movie nights with popcorn
*eating home made fries at the lake chipstand
*AND TONS MORE!!!!!

Hi Kim, sigh, love the list. Today was like a perfect summer day, almost, maybe not hot enough but lovely too.
ReplyDeleteWe are going to enjoy NS alongside of you two, and also going to Kamloops for the western canada summer games with Alex for cycling, and also grade 9 grad is coming up, so fun! I also really enjoy the awards day at both the kids schools...so i still like the end of the year events coming up.
Also looking forward to Folklorama, a visit from my MIL and seeing my sister in BC.
Looking forward to aimless days, firepit at night and maybe getting out of town to the states, we'll see how the money is doing.

Ahhhhhh, summer!! Okay, here's a list of things I plan to do:

That's a pretty small list, but we're going to play it by ear. Can't wait!

OHHHH so Happy Summer is coming soon! Can't wait to spend some of it with you guys!!! I surely wish I was going to Nova Scotia with you two!! Can wait for the skeeters to show up like maybe in the winter so they could feeze! LOL...Nikki xoxox
